Only one true cheat exists for Alphaman.
Enter "Jeffrey Olson" as the name for your character. You will get moderately good starting weapon and armor, and all stats will be set to 18 (plus any bonuses given by mutations).
There are a few exploits that involve using the features of the game in unusual ways:
- Teleporting into a monster kills you and the monster. However, a Medkit can still save your life; so this is a way to get an autokill on any monster.
- It's possible to cross water without drowning by constantly using refreshing berries or a massage unit.
- Savescumming is possible. Saving just before picking up a tech device or a berry, then reloading until you get a desirable item, is tedious but works.
